Anna Matejka has over 30 years of experience teaching children in Australia. In 2005, feeling increasingly frustrated by poor literacy levels, she began to research early reading methodologies. She came across synthetic phonics, and within 6 months of implementation it was clear that the students were making accelerated progress.
